Our transmission circuit systems include a special shuttle valve that can redirect oil from the low-pressure side for cooling. The charge pump’s task is then to compensate for that flow or leakage and maintain a constant oil volume.
These shuttle valves are designed so that the side with the lowest pressure is connected to the outlet, known as a 'low-side shuttle'.
Available for line mounting in sizes up to SAE 1 ½” flange.
All manifolds are available in aluminum (3000 psi / 210 bar) or steel (5000 psi / 350 bar) and can be supplied with surface treatment.
When motor protection is required, dual shock valves can be integrated into the manifold.
See below for a schematic of a transmission manifold with dual shock valves.
